Today is Friday (and my 42nd Birthday) and I am featuring our little Poppet, but firstly here is a photo of me on my 5th birthday (I loved that shirt), with my new ‘Barbie’ and a fabulous cake that my Nanna made:
I think Poppy finally has her appetite back and is featured here enjoying her weet-bix and yoghurt! I have also started serving her meals on her little table and I join her. I think this has made a real difference.
I am also training her to wash up – yeah I wish?? It might be a few more years before she earns her pocket-money, but it’s never too early to start is it?? She wasn’t too fond of the taste of the detergent either. x

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARN! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Hopefully it isn’t so windy in Hobart today and you can manage to have some time to enjoy the sunshine outdoors. I should be down in Hobart in about a weeks time so would love to catch up then. I had to meet up with a wedding couple yesterday. Those photos are great, love the photo of you at 5yrs and some funny ones of Poppy foaming at the mouth etc. I was also just thinking how you will have an incredible set of photos of Poppy as a youngster. The photos are special now but I truly believe that they become more special with time, similar to wine. These photos will become more important as the decades pass.

I am glad you liked the movie yesterday. I went to see Arbitrage last night with Richard Gear. Based in NYC, it was nice to re-live our visit there 2 years ago right now. This time 2 years ago I was in Tiffany!
