Christmas Festivities

On Sunday we celebrated Christmas (a week early) with my side of the family, who travelled to Hobart from the north of the state.  It was the first time we have hosted Christmas at our home.  We had a wonderful day – full of festivities, food and gifts.

Swim Star

I have been taking Poppy to swimming lessons for the past seven weeks, and on Wednesday she was presented with her Swim Star Certificate!  It has been an interesting journey – from the very first lesson when she cried most of the time, to now where she is happily kicking, splashing and dipping her head

Mountain Girls

On Monday afternoon, Poppy and I went up to the mountain (Mt Wellington) for a walk with Eve and Flynn (and Maisy).  We walked out to Sphinx Rock and it was the first time Flynn and Poppy had been in the backpacks.  It was a very successful maiden voyage – both seemed very content hitching

Plastic Fantastic

I haven’t blogged for quite a while – I have had a few attempts at getting a post finalised when the internet drops out, or Poppy is about to head into ‘high risk’ territory (pulling up on an unstable chair)!  So here we are, my first post in nearly a week – shame!  Since Poppy
