Family

fam·i·ly

[famuh-lee, fam-leenoun, plural-lies, adjective

1. a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not: the traditional family.

Here is our ‘traditional family’!  Even though Nick and I have been together and married for several years, since having Poppy it feels like we are a real family now, a ‘social unit’.

We are parents – a MUM and a DAD!  With this brings great happiness and a sense of security, but also, a huge responsibility.  We are bringing up a new generation – where Poppy will learn so much from us (both our good and bad traits). It will be so interesting to see her develop and grow into her own person, as the years roll by.  Nick and I can’t wait to give her as many varied experiences and adventures as we can.
