I have made Poppy these cute little bloomers and had fun picking out the complementary fabric and thread.  Don’t look too closely (wonky stitching on the elastic) but they have come up quite well.  I don’t think she will mind. Poppy was intrigued with the sewing machine foot pedal and kept crawling under the table

This is Poppy’s position of late…the Chaise Lounge (pronounced with a french-accent of course!).  She hasn’t quite got the strength to push up to sit, so she just lounges around.  xx

The long await is now over…Poppy’s first tooth appeared this morning!  No wonder she has been little Miss Grizzly for the past couple of days/weeks.  I am going to enjoy that gummy little smile even more, knowing its days are numbered!!

Poppy has enjoyed her ‘alfresco dining’ experience over the last couple of evenings, and it doesn’t matter how much mess she makes!  x

It is always a lovely feeling unfurling from winter and noticing the subtle changes.  I am now craving fresh veggies and salads at this time of year as opposed to warming, hearty winter casseroles, stews and cakes!  I have been enjoying lovely seasonal produce such as this asparagus, cooked with a little butter and seasoning,
