Another busy week has passed with a range of Christmas activities.
On Tuesday I went to Aloft – a new waterfront restaurant in Hobart, with two of my friends from Mother’s Group where we enjoyed the divine view of the Derwent on dusk.
Thursday was a glorious day where the garden at home beckoned, including running under the sprinkler and planting flower gardens (literally). That night, we had our Day Care Family Fun Night where Poppy sang a couple of carols with her friends. There was face painting, balloon art and sausages. What more could you want?
On Friday we enjoyed rainbows, cooking and super slides down the stairs. On Sunday we caught up with friends to eat ice-cream at the park and in the afternoon a (slow) bushwalk around Knocklofty where Poppy is learning more of her native plants.
Poppy (and Nick) have become slightly obsessed with the Peppa Pig Doctor’s Kit and have been using poor James as their patient to practice their bandaging! He has been very obliging!
