We had a wonderful weekend with my sister Rob, and brother-in-law Paul who were visiting us from Castlemaine. On Friday night we enjoyed a big lamb roast in front of the fire, topped off with a few glasses of red and a Rhubarb and Cinnamon Cake.
Saturday morning was a spectacular day (cold, but sunny) and so we put Pop’s in the backpack and walked through Battery Point to Salamanca Market. Nick bought her this fabulous pin wheel from Socrates.
The rest of the weekend revolved around food – a beautiful lunch at home on Saturday with Nick’s parents – Barb & John; minestrone soup in front of the telly on Saturday night and breakfast at Smolt on Sunday.
