When Poppy was unwell this week, I found her hanging out with Maisy (and dolly and my sunglasses case)!
It sure has been an interesting week – and I have realised that when Poppy is unwell and unable to go to care, it becomes very tricky! At times like these, it would be great to have my Mum and Dad live just around the corner, but they live 2.5 hours away :(.
Obviously our priority is Poppy, but I felt very challenged this week, trying to juggle the demands of my job and our little girl! I felt as though I was neglecting Poppy and my work – ah the Mother’s Guilt!
Luckily she is back to her chatty little self, and will be fine to return to care next week. Maisy will miss her, and so will I!
