I am SO excited! Tonight I fly to Melbourne with my girlfriend’s – Jo, Jen & Cherida, for our annual Urban Adventure! We haven’t been away together for two years (as last year Jo and I had little Bubba’s).
The fridge is full of expressed milk, mini-portioned meals for Poppy and a Chicken & Mushroom Pie for Nick. I have also finished the itinerary to guide us through the urban jungle (see above)!
However, I do feel anxious about leaving Poppy overnight for the first time…but I am eagerly awaiting a sleep in (I will probably wake at 6:00 am yearning to hear her little chatter); sitting in a cafe with friends without chasing a lively 13 month old and yes…a little bit of retail therapy! x
