Poppy’s Nanna gave her a Baby Bjorn for her birthday and she has become quite the Little Mummy. Baby Bjorn is the new addition to our family and comes with us everywhere! She hasn’t been blessed with a pretty name, but is regularly referred to as plain old “Dolly”. Luckily Dolly is suitably dressed in a PFD just in case the need arises for a snorkel (well done Nanna!)
Recently I have been visiting friends and their girls have had a dolls stroller (you know the ones – bright pink floral hues, with plastic wheels) and Poppy would not stop playing with it, much to the angst of the little owners – sorry Lilly & Minnie. So, I ventured to KMart the other day and deep breath…bought a stroller for Poppy (or for Baby Bjorn actually). How can they make that for $7.99??
Poppy is now in stroller heaven as she takes Dolly on various adventures around the house – ramming into the furniture and even Maisy if she is in the way. I don’t think our skirting boards are enjoying the new addition, but Poppy and Dolly sure are!
How cute! Amazing how little girls often seem to be genetically preprogrammed for dolls. We have to catch up soon – I’d love to see Poppy in action!
Hi Heidi
They certainly are genetically programmed…it is innate. She is certainly into her dolly’s, handbags and shoes!
