Ah the big city fix – there is nothing quite like it! I am finishing my week of ‘Pre-Poppy Adventures’ with the urban variety.
Living in Tasmania has so many advantages, but on one level, a girl just has to get off the island every now and then. I love being immersed in the hub of a great city.
My girlfriends (Jo, Jen & Chez) have regular shopping trips to Melbourne. I am so geeky, I even do an itinerary of all the shops/cafes/bars to visit! Our favourite haunts inlcude:
Nick and I went to New York for my 40th! Needless to say, we had an amazing time in this great, great city…eating out every night, shopping, riding bikes around Central Park and appreciating great art.
Barcelona, Cape Town, Bangkok, Delhi, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, Anchorage, Wellington and Sydney…all fantastic cities, but there are many, many more to discover.
